Located right on the river, this hotel offers stunning views during tea time in the cafe or while relaxing in the common areas. Located just 1 mile from Tissamaharama Raja Maha Vihara. Location was just a walk down to a national park and forests. Our room had a view of Yala National Park...

the area contains some restaurants like new cabana within 5 minutes' walk. relaxing base for a city break in tissamaharama! we enjoyed the fact that we chose oak ray lake resort.

Spent our xmas at this hotel and we loved the friendly staff who always went out of their way to help us. the location is fantastic, right by the lake which made for beautiful scenery. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the comfortable beds.
The rooms were a bit outdated and could use some renovation. the bathroom had a leaking sink and the air conditioning system was not working properly.

Amazing view of the lake and surrounding area. The perfect spot to relax and enjoy the cool breeze. Spacious and comfortable rooms, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The swimming pool was clean and well-maintained, providing a refreshing escape from the heat.
Limited wifi access, only available in the hotel lobby and the signal was weak. Some areas of the rooms appeared worn out and in need of maintenance.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly nice and friendly, making us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and they were well-prepared for our stay. The hotel facilities were great, especially the pool with its cool view over the lake. The location was perfect as it was quiet and had an amazing lake view. We were also able to walk to plenty of food options, which was convenient. The Sri Lankan breakfast provided by the hotel was delicious and satisfying. The hotel also offered transportation to the nearby safaris, making it a perfect base for exploring the area.
Nothing, everything was great.
